Another visit to another local and I must admit the menu of this cafe had to be a sweet tooth's love. If you're someone like me who prefer to stay away from the eggs and avocado and stick with the fruits, granola, mueslis, waffles, pancakes and crumpets, I would suggest you swing around here.

Their lunch menu however might as well be the breakfast menu for me because I'm sort of the person who goes from **it's either sweet or burgers/sandwiches** for breakfast really, there's no in between and their lunch menu was practically burgers and sandwiches. The range is diverse which I love. Not only do you have your savoury: smashed avocado, and other egg dishes such as baked eggs (gotta love a cafe with baked eggs) and your desserts but you also get the mash up of their Dill's pancakes with smoked salmon and eggs too. Seriously, the best of both worlds here yet ny friend and I had what we call a "chicken and beef" moment where it was way too hard to make a decision because we wanted the best of both world but didn't know how it was possible to narrow it to two dishes. Anyway we ended up ordering the Piping hot blueberry porridge with toasted coconut ($10) and brown sugar as well as the belgium waffle with fresh strawberries and boysenberry ice cream ($14). All together with our two meals and a cappuccino, the bill only came to $28.

I was quite disappointed at the fact only one waffle was served, how could we possibly share that but I guess you get what you pay for, after all the dish was only $14 and comparing to cafe standards, that's pretty damn good. I spoke of the menu with such delight but I can't quite make out what it is that really didn't spark my liking with the food. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Perhaps that's the problem, it was just average, nothing strikingly amazing but that shouldn't put you off from visiting the cafe as you'd rather have it stable, that is, average, than have a dish extremely terrible or extremely amazing but find yourself disappointed the moment its standards are dropped because the chef was having a bad day.

Nonetheless, the service was speedy, the waitresses, cheery and polite, the design of the area was nothing special but not horrible, like I said, average (however don't count me on that because i didn't get a proper look inside as I was sitting outside) and the area itself neat. Stationed near bus stops, has parking right in front and is only a little down the road to a few other cafes I have on my list such as Oasis Bakery.

Anyway for a cheap and speedy feed, do come try this low key cafe. It doesn't have a 90% rating on urbanspoon for nothing.
