High top and direct from Melbourne Central Station, Father's Office joins one of the balcony high bars and eateries of Melbourne. It sits just above San Churro and is entered through stairs at it's rear, next to the Strike bowling and bar. The bar adapts a clash of antique, alaskan wooden house kind of vibes with deers antlers and wooden chairs along with the alteration of the 70s disco with its dance-floor and newspaper laid out menu, very unique indeed.

Michelle and I went during the day and found that the vibes during the day was potentially a slack but assuming that is the bar is more lively at night. We didn't really know how the bar works, that is, where to order, whether we were to get a menu or get it ourselves or there wasn't a menu, yeah you see the drift there. There were two workers that we came by, one serving food and the other at the bar. In the end, we managed to capture the attention of one of the workers to be given a menu and were told to order at the bar. So overall, service was iffy to us girls.

Nonetheless we decided to share a burger and that was probably the greatest slow roasted pulled pork burger I've tried. It was sandwiched with pear and apple compote and cos lettuces and served with shoestrings fries. And for what it's worth, it's definitely a must try.

That's all I really have to say about the place. I'd love to come back at night to feel the vibes then but for now I'll probably wait till I turn 18 so I can make use of the bar, especially when they have great burgers and beer deals here and then.
