Seated on the Southbank, Crown holds a fine dining restaurant specialising in Melbourne's freshest seafood. The interior orientates around the sea itself, hanging ropes, hanging wooden lanterns, wooden tables blue interior, and yeah I will apologise for the photos, they're not that great this time around. While having been amazed at the interior already, their den is what had me at awe. It's located downstairs alongside the bathroom and it reminds me of hidden libraries in bricked rooms refurbished to clash with modern sophistication, thereby presenting the den.

For what it's worth though, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant unless you're one heavy seafood lover willing to pay a fortune for small dishes. My brother and I aren't great fans of seafood, yeah I do eat seafood but I'm not an enthusiast so looking at the menu, it was pretty hard to decide. They had a limited range of non-seafood, and the meat already ranged from $38+. So again, I would only recommend if you're looking for seafood. In the end we both chose an entree, my brother Slow Roast Spiced Quail and I had the Wood Fire Grilled Calamari stuffed with Prawns. I also got to try the Moreton Bay Bug Spaghettini and that was actually divine, would recommend, it beats both what my brother and I had. All those were "hot plate starters" which ranged from $25+ and were already enough to serve as a main. The food was eloquently presented though, will give them that. However service was inefficient although food delivery was fine.

Wood Fire Grilled Calamari
stuffed with prawns and served with Greek Salad $26
Moreton Bay Bug Spaghettini $29 E/$45 M
olive oil, garlic, chilli, parsley
Slow Roast Spiced Quail $26
confit legs, caramelized chestnut puree, pickled beetroot
sautéed shimeji mushrooms, red wine beetroot jus
Strawberry Fields Mocktail $10
& Lemon Lime Bitters
Personally I think this place is overpriced but perhaps I'll make a return for their bar in the near future.
