Serviced in a small brick building, Tall Timber is a hidden but busy brunch spot along Commercial Rd.With walls repainted white, hanging bikes, crate shelves, the aroma of coffee and tables stationed with plants, the cafe gives off an urban atmosphere fitted for winter mornings. The entry is through the side door which gives you the option of being seated inside or in their courtyard, both designed similarly, cosy and close knit. The one thing I must note is that their service is extremely fast, we came at around 12, got greeted immediately, given a table and received our breakfast within 20minutes.


Their menu is a bit fancy, nothing too boring. My friends and I ended up ordering:

Roast Pumpkin Bruschetta with Poached Eggs, Feta,
Seeds  & Nut Dukkah on quinoa loaf $16

Wild Cacao, Goji & Organic oat granola with
seasonal fruit and honey vanilla yoghurt $11.50

Smashed Avocado with Harissa goats curd, charred corn salsa,
 coriander and lime $15

All were amazing, my favourite would have to be the Granola, that was perfectly presented and perfect in taste. The avocado tasted amazing when eaten as a whole (that is, bread, avocado, corn and goats curd in one bite) and the pumpkin was superb.
