Asian fusion clashed with modern interior, I don't know what's a better choice to expand Chadstone. I will admit though, I was pretty sad when they shut down Noodlebox but hey, Fa Fah isn't too bad as a replacement. I'm loving the use of asian cultured hats and pans in their wall and roof decors. I didn't expect much when I went to try but the interior gave itself a +1 for my liking. So rarely you'd find a decent asian restaurant that's looked like it's given it's all to its presentation.

The restaurant specialises in Asian roast, normally sided with egg noodles or rice with a variety of drinks from logan, milk tea, avocado and sour plum, some of the asians' favourites. In terms of quality however, the food was average, nothing too special. My mum and I both ordered Roast Pork with bok choy and egg noodles and I found that the sauce they used was a bit too salty and the pork, too dry. Not entirely the greatest roast I've had but I'm not complaining. My mum on the other hand, didn't like it too much and I'd take my mum's word on that. However we did order fried tofu as entree beforehand and that was perfect.

The service wasn't great either and that's something that definitely brought the restaurant down.We had to fish for their attention in order to get a seat and the waiters weren't very friendly or welcoming and if they weren't muted then they couldn't speak fluent english, not that that is a problem but friendly service could possibly help them on their rating. On the upside, food delivery didn't take so long. We ordered our drinks and got them shortly accompanied with the fried tofu and hey, the prices weren't high either, pretty much matching Pappa Rich's menu.

Nonetheless, I wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a sophisticated eatery. The restaurant is loud and not very intimate so perhaps if you're in the area or looking for a quick bite, drop by!
